What Your Stall Fee Covers
Stall fees contribute towards the significant upfront costs involved in producing and promoting each market, including:
-
Venue hire
-
Venue and event management
-
Staff and labour
-
Insurance
-
Entertainment
-
AV and technical requirements
-
Photography and videography
-
Paid Facebook and Instagram advertising
-
Additional event marketing and promotion
A substantial portion of these costs, particularly advertising and event expenses, is committed as soon as stall bookings are received.
Stall Cancellation, Refund & Transfer Policy
Please ensure you are able to attend before purchasing your stall, as all stall bookings are final.
Stall fees are non-refundable if you are unable or choose not to attend due to a change of mind, personal circumstances, illness, scheduling conflicts or any other change in your circumstances.
Stall bookings cannot be transferred to another market date and cannot be exchanged for a credit.
This policy is necessary because stallholder fees are allocated towards advertising, venue hire and event operating costs immediately following booking. These expenses are incurred regardless of whether an individual stallholder ultimately attends.
Weather Policy
Sunshine Coast Vintage Market is an outdoor event and may proceed in all weather conditions. Weather forecasts can change considerably in the lead-up to an event. A forecast of rain, wind or other unfavourable conditions does not automatically mean the market will be cancelled.
If the market proceeds, stallholders are not entitled to a refund or credit because of weather conditions, forecast weather, a personal decision not to attend, reduced customer attendance or individual stallholder sales performance.
Stallholders are responsible for ensuring their stall, marquee, stock and equipment are appropriately prepared and secured for outdoor conditions.
If Sunshine Coast Vintage Market determines that the event cannot safely or reasonably proceed and cancels the event, affected stallholders will be contacted directly regarding the applicable refund, credit or other remedy.
Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
By purchasing a stall, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the above stallholder, cancellation and weather conditions.
